What is the implementation log?
The implementation log is an online tool to document the Web Wise Kids safety sessions that you conduct with students and parents. Using this tool, you will record basic information about every completed Web Wise Kids program with students or parents.
Why should I complete the log?
While your participation is voluntary, it is critical for evaluating the effectiveness of the Web Wise Kids program – for students, parents, and community safety trainers like you – and making ongoing improvements. Also, Web Wise Kids will be informed about any additional assistance that community trainers may need.

When should I complete the log?
You should fill out a log after every completion of the Web Wise Kids program with students or parents (preferably immediately after so that you do not forget). Please note that it may take several classroom periods to finish the entire Web Wise Kids program with each group of students. In this case, you will only have to fill out one log upon completion of the full program per group of students. That is, one log for every Web Wise Kids program conducted in its entirety with a single group.
Once you have started a log, please finish it in one sitting, as you will not be able to go back to finish or modify it at another time. It only takes a few minutes to fill out.
Who will see my log entries?
Your responses will remain completely confidential; no one but the project staff at Learning Point Associates, the external evaluator for Web Wise Kids, will have access to these data. Responses will be reported in the aggregate only, and no individuals will be identified in reports or summaries of the data. In completing this log, please remember that this is an evaluation of the Web Wise Kids program, not an evaluation of you as a community trainer.
Thank you for your cooperation!
